Quick tips before you book
- Bangkok has two airports. Suvarnabhumi (BKK) handles most long-haul flights; Don Mueang (DMK) is the budget-carrier hub. Both reach Sukhumvit in 45–60 minutes — check which one your fare lands at before booking a tight connection.
- For Pattaya, fly to Bangkok. U-Tapao (UTP) is closer on the map but has few routes — a Bangkok flight plus a 2-hour transfer is almost always cheaper and easier.
- Phuket (HKT) is direct-reachable from many hubs — no Bangkok connection needed for a Patong trip.
- High season is November–February. Fares climb from October; the rainy months (June–October) are markedly cheaper and the nightlife runs year-round.
